Turn mock mistakes into a revision plan
Choose a few corrections you can actually complete.
Choose priorities
Look for recurring difficulties in material you are currently studying. Select a small number of actionable priorities instead of turning every incorrect answer into a large new backlog.
Make the task concrete
Replace "improve physics" with a specific action such as revisiting a particular method and attempting related problems. Match the size of the task to the time you have.
Example
After two mistakes applying the same conservation principle, review its conditions, redo the two questions, then try a related question without the explanation.
Close the loop
Use the next appropriate attempt to observe whether the issue recurs. A completed checklist is useful evidence of follow-through, but understanding needs to be checked through your work.
- Select a small number of priorities.
- Define the next task.
- Check the issue in subsequent work.
