What a JEE Main mock test on Autonise is like

Each test follows the current JEE Main paper: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, 25 questions each, in 3 hours. The question palette, marking for review and the timer work as they do in the exam hall.

When you submit, you get your marks subject by subject and a percentile estimate based on past JEE Main results. Your attempts also show which chapters cost you marks.

The JEE Main paper pattern

This is the pattern NTA has used since 2025. NTA announces each year's pattern in the information bulletin, and the tests follow any change it makes for 2027.

  • 75 questions: 25 each in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • Each subject has 20 multiple-choice questions and 5 numerical-answer questions. All are compulsory.
  • +4 for a correct answer and −1 for a wrong one, in both sections. Unanswered questions score 0.
  • 300 marks in total, in 3 hours.

How to use mock tests before JEE Main 2027

  • Take a full test early, even before the syllabus is finished, to find out where you stand.
  • Sit each test in one go, at the time of day of your exam shift.
  • Spend as long reviewing a test as taking it: redo every wrong and skipped question.
  • Keep a list of the chapters that cost you marks, and revise them before the next test.
  • Move to one full test a week, then two, in the last two months.
