What a JEE Advanced mock test on Autonise is like

Each paper has Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, with the question types JEE Advanced uses: single-correct and multiple-correct questions, numerical answers and matching. Every section shows its own marking, including partial marks, before you start.

When you submit, you get your marks subject by subject and an estimated rank based on past JEE Advanced marks and ranks. Your attempts also show which chapters cost you marks.

The JEE Advanced exam

Because the pattern changes every year, practise with papers of different years, not just one.

  • Two compulsory papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, of 3 hours each, on the same day.
  • Each paper has Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • The number of questions, the question types and the marking change from year to year.
  • It is a computer-based exam, and only students who qualify through JEE Main can sit it.

How to use mock tests before JEE Advanced 2027

  • Take Paper 1 and Paper 2 on the same day, with a break between them, as in the real exam.
  • Read each section's marking scheme first: partial marks change when it is worth answering.
  • Review every wrong and skipped question, and note which question types cost you the most.
  • Keep a list of the chapters that cost you marks, and revise them before the next paper.

Will I get an estimated rank?

Why do JEE Advanced papers look so different from year to year?

The IIT that conducts the exam sets a new pattern each year: the number of questions, the question types and the marking all change. Practising with papers of several years prepares you for that.
